Samantha’s table terms of use

Effective date: September 29, 2026

These terms explain the ground rules for using our websites, filling out our questionnaire, coming to our events and working with us. By using any of them, you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Samantha's Table, LLC is a private matchmaking service registered in New York. When these terms say "we" or "us," they mean Samantha's Table, LLC. These terms cover our websites (samanthastable.com and samanthadaniels.info), our questionnaire, our events, our newsletters, and our matchmaking and consulting services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use our websites or services.

Who can use our services

When you fill out our questionnaire, register for an event or work with us, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You are single, divorced, widowed or legally separated, and not in a committed relationship, unless you have told us otherwise

  • The information and photos you give us are true, current and your own

  • You will let us know if anything important changes, such as your relationship status

We may decline to work with anyone, or stop working with someone, at our discretion, including if we learn that information they gave us is not accurate.

No guarantee of a match

We put real care and experience into every introduction, but chemistry can't be promised. We don't guarantee that you will be introduced to a certain number of people, that you will like the people you meet, or that any introduction will lead to a relationship or marriage.

Your safety and your choices

Our role is to make introductions. Once we introduce you to someone, what happens next is between two adults. You alone decide whether to contact, meet, date or continue seeing anyone we introduce, and you are solely responsible for your own conduct, choices and safety.

We get to know the people we introduce, but we don't run background checks, and we can't verify everything someone tells us. We recommend meeting in public places, arranging your own transportation, and telling a friend where you'll be.

As long as we have used reasonable care in choosing whom to introduce and in arranging dates and events, we are not responsible for the conduct, statements or actions of anyone you meet through us, whether in messages, on a date, at an event, or in any relationship that follows. To the fullest extent the law allows, you agree not to hold Samantha's Table, LLC, its owners or its staff responsible for any harm, loss or disappointment arising from your interactions with anyone you meet through us, and you release us from any claims about them.

Our events

  • Conduct. We want every guest to feel comfortable. We may ask anyone who is disrespectful, harassing, or drinking too much to leave, without a refund.

  • Photos. We take photos at our events and may share them on our websites, newsletters and social media. If you'd rather not be photographed, or not have a photo of you shared, just tell us.

  • Tickets and refunds. Event tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the event, in which case we will refund you or offer a spot at a future event.

  • Venues and partners. Some events are held at venues or co-hosted with partners. We aren't responsible for their services, food, drinks or premises.

Keeping others' information private

We work hard to keep your identity private. When we suggest you to a potential match, we share only what they need to decide whether they'd like to meet you, in general terms. As long as we have used reasonable care to keep your identity private, we are not responsible if someone figures out who you are on their own, or shares details about an introduction or date with others, including the media.

When we tell you about a potential match, we are trusting you with someone else's personal information. Please keep it private. Don't share their name, photos or details with others, post them online, or contact them outside the introduction we arrange unless they agree.

Texts and emails

When you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may text, call or email you about our services, events and newsletters. You can stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any newsletter. Message and data rates may apply.

Our content and what you share with us

Everything on our websites and in our newsletters, including text, photos, videos, logos and the Samantha's Table name, belongs to us or the people who licensed it to us. You're welcome to read and share it for personal use, but please don't copy, sell or republish it without our written permission.

When you send us information or photos, you still own them. You give us permission to use them to provide our matchmaking services, as described in our Privacy Policy. We will never post your photos or details publicly without your written permission.

Please don't misuse our websites, for example by using automated tools to copy them, trying to break into them, or sending spam through them.

Recommendations and other websites

We sometimes recommend products, services and events from other companies. We only recommend things we have tried and truly like, but your experience may be different, and those companies are responsible for what they sell. Some recommendations may come from partners who pay us, give us a commission or give us free products or services.

Our websites and emails may link to other websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Limits on our responsibility

We provide our websites and services "as is." We work hard to keep them accurate and running smoothly, but we can't promise they will always be available, error-free, or right for your particular situation.

We may update, change or pause our websites, or any part of them, at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Samantha's Table, LLC and its owners and staff are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, or for anything that happens between you and a person you meet through us.

If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or gave us false information, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Disputes and New York law

These terms are governed by New York law. If you have a concern, please contact us first; most things can be resolved with a conversation. If we can't resolve it, any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

Your client agreement

If you have signed a membership, client or consulting agreement with us and it says something different from these terms, the terms of your agreement apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on our websites with its effective date. If you keep using our websites or services after that, the updated terms apply.

The fine print

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any client or consulting agreement you've signed, are the full agreement between you and us about our websites and services.
