Well-known Professional Matchmaker, Samantha Daniels launches Date Debate-  a Virtual Happy Hour For Social-distancing SIngles  on the Zoom platform.

Unfortunately, during this scary and unpredictable time of Coronavirus, singles all over the world are feeling lonelier than ever before. They are limited in going out to socialize or even go on many dating app dates. This creates feelings of hopelessness and isolation.

Samantha Daniels, the founder of the well-known Professional Matchmaking  service, Samantha’s Table and the author of Matchbook: The Diary of a Modern-Day Matchmaker  has created Date Debate as a Virtual Happy Hour to provide social-distancing singles worldwide a place to come together and be entertained, socialize and blow off some steam in these very trying times.

“The idea for a Virtual Happy Hour for social-distancing singles came to me as a response to the hundreds of emails I have been getting since the Coronavirus outbreak where singles are lamenting to me that they feel so alone and worry they will never be able to date again. Losing a month of dating time is devastating for a single person who very much wants to be in a relationship and move onto marriage and a family and the thought of maybe not being able to socialize for more than that can be seriously paralyzing, ” says Daniels.

Date Debate will be taking place on the Zoom platform once a week for one hour and will be ramping up to 3 times a week or more depending upon demand.  Any single person from around the world can register to attend. Samantha will debate with a well-known and/or funny co-host at each Happy Hour about a funny and fun socializing topic. You can expect to hear them spar about subjects like:  first date sex, friends with benefits, ghosting, dating stereotypes like commitmentphobic men and needy women, sexting, online dating and more.

“Date Debate is an idea I have had for quite sometime because I was a debater in high school and have always loved to spar with people about funny topics. This allows me to provide social-distancing singles a way to have a laugh or two and also a new way to interact and meet other singles even if it’s virtual… for awhile.”
