"Key to My Heart" Valentine's Day Party
People always say that the best way of meeting people is through friends. Samantha's Table is predicated upon the theory that people who have many things in common have a better chance of having a successful relationship. The Valentine's Day Party supported this notion by bringing together friends and friends of friends who were all connected in some way to each other and as a result had many similiarities. In addition, people attended with a platonic opposite sex friend, so that everyone could meet each other's friends and that that there would be an equal number of men and women in attendance. Upon entrance, each man was given a key and each woman a lock, and then you had to try to discover who had "the key to your heart". The event took place at Dylan's Candy Bar and the sponsors were Moet & Chandon Champagne, Sterling Vodka and Original Sin Cider. A portion of the proceeds went to Breast Cancer research. We had over 30 couples find their "lock and key" match!

Samantha's Table played Cupid on this day of love. We sent our CRUSH CARD to "crushes" or to "that special someone"; we sent them to people who were admired from afar, to loved ones, and to friends. It was a great way to express amorous feelings for someone on Valentine's Day. The gift arrived in a beautifully wrapped package with a chocolate Crush Card , and other chocolate goodies in it. The card said, "Someone has a crush on you, call Samantha's Table and find out who." Then once your crush received the gift, he or she only had to contact one of the Samantha's Table staff members and we will helped the person and their crush get in touch. We sent out hundreds of cards to people's crushes and heard back that alot of dates ensued because of them; it seems that love was really in the air!  view photos
